Story

Story

The founding idea of Brimoncourt is to get back to the original DNA of champagne, to the time when it was a light and joyful wine for celebration, a wine to be shared with people but not in a formal way.

For three centuries, Champagne has been synonym of fine tables, subtlety and inspired savoir-vivre… Brimoncourt is our tribute to these for-ever Champagne values: elegance, independence, sharing and lightness.

A Daring Move – This signature is that of a charming dissenter: Alexandre Cornot. Passionate being, admirer of the terroir and Champagne lover, he breathes character and exigency into each and every one of the House’s creations.

A Joyful Expression – At Brimoncourt, we are proud of developing a lively and creative brand with strong personalities who share a common vision and passion for this wonderful wine that is Champagne. More than just a great wine, Brimoncourt is a way of being, inspired by free spirits: it is a chivalrous desire, a sophisticated response to convenience and boredom.

Cradle of Champagne – Our wines are born in Aÿ, in the historical heart of the Champagne vineyard, in nearly bicentenary buildings and gardens. This anchorage in Aÿ is also a promise and compels us to bring a special care to the selection of vines and grapes when creating the Brimoncourt wines.

Tasting Notes

Tasting Notes

Straight & Distinctive

Generous, fresh and subtle, the Brimoncourt Blanc de Blancs is a very fine wine full and elegant. This champagne is exclusively made of Premier and Grand Cru Chardonnay grapes from the Côte des Blancs, reaching a superbly fresh and generous structure.

A cuvée of excellence to enjoy during a lunch or dinner. To pair with seafood to underline its mineral and saline features. For more spontaneity, the Brimoncourt Blanc de blancs goes perfectly well with sushis or sashimis.

Tasting by Gérard Basset MW – Best sommelier of the World

Eye
A well balanced Champagne, supple and generous made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. This wine of exceptional elegance has a very light yellow colour with golden glimmers.

Nez
The typical nose opens on notes of brioche and fruits with aromas of white flowers (hawthorn and acacia).

Palais
The palate is fleshy, smooth, enveloped by the freshness of citrus notes, lemon and grapefruit zest. A remarkable sweetness and a lingering mineral finish invite to prolong the pleasure.

James Suckling – 93 points

The complex nose of orange blossom and spring flowers, underlined by subtle toastiness, pulls you into this very impressive Blanc de Blancs that is at once deep and refined. Excellent integration of the acidity and lees character on the very focused palate. Long, chalky and slightly salty finish. Drink now.

Wine Enthusiast – 92 points

This Champagne, with a richly creamy mousse, is full of young white fruits, strong minerality and a lightly steely edge. Citrus and green apples lead the fruity side. Drink now.
