Story

A recent success story, Mirabeau was founded by an Anglo-German family moving to Provence in 2009, who set out to create a great Rosé while building a brand that people love. They have now quickly built a reputation as one of the best rosé winemakers in Provence, recognized by consumers and international critics. Approachable, the family has a strong digital and social media activity such as ‘The Wine Show’ on TV.

Blend: 60% Grenache, 40% Syrah

Winemaking: Sourced from certified sustainable vineyard ranging from 300-400m altitude on clay and limestone soils.

Vinification through vin de pressurage, short maceration, chilled settling and temperature controlled fermentation to retain its freshness and aromas

An ethereal ballet slipper pink with silver nuances, this wine stays unmistakably true to its name. Pure unveils a complex nose with finesse, revealing aromas of citrus, pink grapefruit and subtle summer berries, with a zingy freshness. The result is an incredibly easy to love, vegan Rosé, that gives you refined aromas with a pleasant acidity and an elegant finish.

A perfect companion for an aperitif, lighter cuisine and desserts with a citrus note.

 Fresh and clean rosé as always with sliced lemon, papaya, plum flesh character. Medium to full body. Firm and refreshing acidity. Solid and focused. Drink now.’

A wonderful floral nose bursting with elderflower, peach and citrus. On the palate it’s juicy and full of summer berries with hints of grapefruit and underlying minerality. A blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, it’s structured with a lovely soft texture, mouthwatering liveliness and is very Provençal in style. Easy to drink and easy to recommend. Vegan.

Rich and spicy with fruit that is still developing, this wine has a tight, mineral character that will soften. It is definitely a food wine, with a light structure from the Syrah in the blend. The wine will be best from late 2020.

A 60-40 blend of Grenache and Syrah, respectively, the 2019 Cotes de Provence Rose Pure plays up the mineral aspects of rosé when compared with the fruit-driven experience of Mirabeau’s Classic cuvée. Hints of crushed stone and citrus mark the nose and palate, which is more concentrated but also finer and more focused, ending in a long, citrusy finish.
